catalogue: WALKING BEETHOVEN
I am “an honest and clever artist, with excellent fingers and great sound” as M° Bruno Canino says about me.
In 2004 I was graduated with honours from Conservatorio Verdi in Milano, where I was admitted as private student after my studies with Mariagrazia Bellocchio. He attended the experimental composition course given by Maestro Sandro Gorli at the same Conservatoire.
I am honoured to have attended various masterclasses with great musicians, like B. Canino, L. Lortie, P. N. Masi, K. Bogino, P. Bordoni. It was very useful to be in Mozarteum of Salzburg, when I could work with S.Dorensky and A.Jasinski.
I deepened ancient repertory with E.Fadini and I could study chamber music with the Altenber Trio and Trio di Trieste in the “Accademia Chigiana” in Siena. I played in various concert hall like “Sala Verdi” in Milan and “Sala Assunta” in Vatican, “Colegios de Medicos” in Madrid…
I am employed in the execution of “Integrals Piano Opera” of L.van Beethoven and G.Ligeti.
I also played the Second (under direction of Enrico Saverio Pagano) and the Fifth Piano Concert of Beethoven’s.
I enjoy to play with great musicians and fine persons like Diego Maccagnola, Cristiano Rossi, Manrico Padovani, Natasha Korsakova, Svetlana Tsoneva e Ginevra Petrucci.
Here some recordings:
1) Brilliant Classics: Opera omnia for Piano soloby A.Bruckner
2) Urania Manzoni: a disc devoted to B.Bartók’s piano works
3) For Laude Novella in Pavia a double disc with: R.Schumann’s Symphonic Etudes op. 13, Liszt’s Paganini Etudes, G.Ligeti’s Etudes II book.
4) Ema Vinci: a disc with B.Bartók’s etudes op. 18, F.Chopin’s Etudes op. 10, G.Ligeti’s Etude I book.
I teach piano in Conservatorio “A.Vivaldi” in Alessandria. I teached before in Cagliari, Pavia and Gallarate.
I live in Gallarate with Gloria, my wife, and two very lively children, Giovanni and Lucia.
