“There are as many forms of love as there are moments in time”…
 J.Austen

“Happiness is love, nothing else. Who can love is happy. Every movement of our soul, in which it feels itself and feels its life, is love. So happy is he who can love a lot. But love and desire are not exactly the same thing. Love is desire that has become wise; Love does not want to have; she just wants to love”
Hermann Hesse

If indeed it’s true that we think of love as something we cannot learn, I believe that this sentence may perfectly sum up the sense of this “romantic” project. There hasn’t been one single element or a specific encounter that inspired it, instead it was my will and pure pleasure of turning what distinguish the bottom of my soul into sound…just like a vision in which I thought the time to pay homage to such a big, contradictory, healing, destabilizing, prismatic feeling had finally come; using what too is love, that is music.

The realization of this project has been possible only by  the enthusiastic participation of a person with whom I shared every single aspect: Sabina Belei (pianist whom I feel connected with by a profound and long friendship) dedicated a huge part of her studies to vocal chamber music repertoire through which the combination of Poetry and Music is best expressed. Just a piano and a voice embark on a journey without a compass but with the only certainty as to never get lost, guided by those great composers and poets that by the first hearing are capable to give us worlds of infinite splendour. They liven up the various shapes of love we feel in space and time, which find one common point that is action, and it’s never wrong: LIEB…simply LOVE
