Founded in 2007, TRIO D’ARNA has devoted itself to the reinterpretation of classic italian songs from the secondo half of the 20th century.

Barbara Abati

She gradueted in flute in 1996 at the State Conservatory of Music in Perugia, under the guidance of Debora Kruzansky.
She attended master classes with maestros Julius Baker and Carlo Morena.
She has performed in the Musical Concert “F. Morlacchi” of Cannara, with the association “Ivo Guglielmi” of Valfabbrica and with the Philharmonic “V. Puletti” of Ponte Felcino.
She played in various chamber ensembles including the flute quartet “Keiko” and the wind quintet “Clivis”. She performs regularly with guitarist Lucia Bellucci; together they participated in a master class with the flautist Salvatore Lombardi and the guitarist Piero Viti in the September 2001 musical event organized for the “Perugia Classico”.
She has taught music at the elementary school of “S. Benedetto” of Valfabbrica, in the nursery school of “Madonna della Villa” of S. Egidio and in the nursery school of Valfabbrica. She has taught music at the nursery school of Ripa and Ospedalicchio, at the elementary school of Ospedalicchio and at the nursery school of Umbertide. She held propaedeutic courses of music in the kindergarten of Cerqueto, S. Costanzo and Tavernelle. She has taught flute at the Musical Concert “F. Morlacchi ” of Cannara, at the “Ivo Guglielmi” association in Valfabbrica and at Gubbio’s municipal school.
Since 1999 she has led musical activities at the Capodarco Community and in the last few years she has conducted performances in the community.
She graduated in 2019 in Music Therapy at the Pro Civitate Cristiana of Assisi.
She has done internships in music therapy at the Centro Sereni – Opera don Guanella, at the “Centro Speranza” of Fratta Todina, Capodarco community and in the Cavour-Marconi-Pascal High School. She has worked as a music therapist with “Serenia 2000” in the Sant’Arcangelo community. At the moment she teaches flute at the music school in the Arna area. She is a member of “Trio d’Arna” since 2007.


Lucia Bellucci

She graduated in Classical Guitar from the “F. Morlacchi” conservatory school in Perugia, under the guidance of Claudio De Angelis. She is a guitar professor in the Musical High School “A. Mariotti” in Perugia. She has attendend various master classes with world famous guitarists such as Leo Brower, David Russell, Oscar Ghiglia, Ernesto Cordero, Alirio Diaz, Pieter Van Der Staak, Owe Walter and Neil Smith. She plays the guitar as a soloist and as part of several chamber ensembles. She has performed in Germany as part of a duo and as part of a folkloristic band (1996-1998), with significant recognition.
She has also played the mandolin with the Menestrelli of Assisi from 1994 to 2000. She recorded a CD with the music of Giuseppe Bruni and another one with Umbria’s folk songs under the lead of Franco Radicchia, as a soloist and as part of a trio with two flutes. She has  been a member of the guitar quartet “Acusma” since 2006 and of the “Trio d’Arna” since 2007.


Luca Ricci

After graduating high school he studied composition at the State Conservatory of Music “F. Morlacchi” of Perugia. Since 2000 he has worked as a sound engineer for various record labels, making audio master productions of classical music in a mobile studio and at the Classical Recording Studio in Perugia.
He has worked as a composer, songwriter, singer and keyboardist in multiple pop groups during the second half of the 80s, such as “Strane Ricerche”. They were among the finalists at the Accademia della Canzone di Sanremo in 1998.
He manages a YouTube channel about the history of music of the late 20th century called “Chronological History of Music Channel”.
He is a member of “Trio d’Arna” since 2007.
